Ok, I'll keep that in mind.

My old logitech UltraX optical mouse had some sticking-clicking problems. I beat down on the offending button with force and now it works fine.

So uhh why hasn't anybody recommended buying a second hand or "New, Old Stock" MX310?

There are still a great many Logitech G5's from 2005 ish available sealed & new in box so I don't see why it would be too difficult to find another just like the first mouse.

I've tried so many mice from many many manufacturers and keep coming back to Logitech pro wireless. Yes, it is not perfect, but overall it just ticks most of the boxes, at least for me.
