Got the black FK1+-B on my desk right now, pretty much the same mouse

Right side buttons are removed, it weighs less. I think it's 85-86g
Same mouse skates, so Z-1 hyperglides should still work (I don't have any, they seem to be out of stock due to covid)

cable feed into the mouse a little different, it's kind of like the S series where it comes out forward and is raised upwards. Everything else is pretty much the same. No rattles or anything, scroll wheel feels better than the models a few years ago similar to the latest re-releases. Still a terrible scroll wheel for browsing, literally only good for using it in gaming to jump and the clicks feel fine, they still have a higher actuation force than most new mice but that's ok

And no tracking issues so far, haven't had a single sensor fail/sleep/jitter etc yet

Overall if you like the FK and don't plan on using any other mouse could be worth grabbing once your current one is failing. Although that might be a while because my original FK from 2012 still works to this day

Not sure what zowie is going to do next though.. I think that was basically it for all of their refreshes

Is it still unflashable like the old mice?

Same stuff, lower weight. If they can make a FK2 shape with a 3360/3389, sub 70g and more consistent buttons than the Glorious Model O- I'm game.

>lower weight

No thank you. Literally hate every single mouse that is under 80g, and I own most of them (model o-, viper, viper mini, mm710, xtrfy m4)

Why not go with newest sensors? Why stop on the 3360.

It's tried and true. And, if I'm not mistaken, the 3360 is more surface friendly than the 3389.

Same reason I buy any other mouse: to try them out until I find my favourite, which in this case has been consistently 80g+ mice.
