I just bought Razer viper

So I just bought razer viper and one thing I like about it is it has most used dpi steps out of the box, so I installed razer synapse to make sure what every step color indicate and then uninstalled it. But I regret doing so I think i was better off not installing it at all because the mouse froze and I had to restart the computer. Do you think it updated the firmware on the mouse by any means or edited it?. Thanks

Unlikely your firmware was updated as it usually takes some time to flash and requires the user to be aware so they don't disconnect the mouse part the way through and brick it.

I don't have the Viper but do have the Viper Mini and after uninstalling Synapse 3 the drivers it installed previously remained and had to be cleaned up manually. IIRC it installed at ton of other Razer mouse and mat drivers which I don't even use. Also there was a separate bootloader driver installed to but that may have been when running a firmware update, not sure.

I probably won't come back. If anything, I'll try smaller next time. Maybe I'll like the D-, which is sort of like putting the D in the O.
