Hello folks
I just purchased a brand new mouse the razer naga, the first thing i saw when i opened the box the plastic that surrounds the bottom of the mouse is scratched, it looks like it's been used before but i am not sure, the cable and everything else looks brand new except that part, i plugged it, and the only functions that were working was the buttons, but not the laser beam, so i cant move the mouse but i can click, was thinking maybe it needs the driver, so i went to the website to download the driver, and still i had the same problem, now all the sudden after 2 or 3 hours the mouse is working fine i can move it BUT the laser beam is still not on, my questions is, is all this normal?, and do the plastic from the bottom looks shiny scratchless when unboxed or this is how they originaly are, any help would be much appreciate it.

The laser doesn't release any light like the optical mice unless you look straight at the laser which I don't recommend so that should be fine. As far as not being able to move it, maybe you had to restart the system before it started functioning correctly. As for being scratched, someone probably tested it, didn't like it and returned it to the store. So it's still new but someone took it for a test drive on a rough mouse pad or maybe it somehow got scratched during manufacturing. Only you can decide what happened based on the pattern of the scratch marks.

well from the scratch marks it looks like someone did counster strike international championchip twice, before returning it, it is 100% used for a while as i found dirt around the macros like dead skin ect, just like guitar strings when they are used for a while, it sucks, ill return it, and unleash hell tomorrow thanks for the reply tho
