Hi there
I'v bought a Gigabyte M8000Xtreme laser gaming mouse today along with the Gigabyte Ghost gaming series soft mouse pad. I noticed a very anoying problem today after everything was set up, the mouses tracking on the mouse pad is terreble, sometimes even stops tracking. It works fine on my desk though but i prefer the smooth feeling moving a mouse over a mouse pad. Anyways any ideas how i can fix this and also WHY would gigabyte make a mouse pad that cant be used with THEIR mouse?? i find this annoying. anyway any help or suggestions before i go back and smack the sales man who sold me this mouse pad

Is the mousepad black or dark colors perhaps? I find that most laser/optical mice will not track worth a darn on black surfaces.
