Your setting is far from extremely low. Even at 20"/360, I CANNOT make the mouse malfunction.
What in the world would you label as extremely low? Also, I would appreciate if you gave me more details about your current Intellimouse configuration.

I don't play TF2, but if counterstrike has the same 360/inches anything in the ball park of 2.0 in game sens would be average, although since it's an MLT04 Optical sensor, the perfect control rate is extremely limited and negative acceleration occurs often.

I personally use:

500hz
2.5 In game.
1024x768 resolution
MarkC mousefix for 1.6 and raw input for source.

Actually, I'm willing to try bumping my port to 1000hz, although we're not on the same hardware and my results have a chance to differ.

I would highly appreciate it, because personally I believe in the possibility of the 1000hz setting being the factor that sets it over the edge, or more accurately, stops it from moving appropriately.

By the way, I recently discovered that I have been playing without a proper accel fix all of this time, due to applying a fix a long time ago which only functioned for XP instead of W7, which is quite a ripoff, but better late then never.

I don't have one here but in theory I would get them to skip and my sensitivity is only slightly lower with about 13 inch/360.
