if you dont want to have hard time with 5%-7% negative accel - get Hard one.(plastic/aluminium and etc)
my recommended is 9HD, have really great time with it.
also got in the past the des, but I like the 9HD more.

Cloth pads are that much of a problem? What does negative accel do? Also I would prefer medium/small sized mouse pads because I use 2000 - 3000 dpi and I don't need that much space. I currently have a razer goliathus xl and it is far too big.

Negative acceleration means that during a fast swipe you will feel the mouse slow down. Some sensors cannot keep up with quick movements so they either stop tracking entirely or produce negative acceleration. This is a bad thing because the crosshair/cursor will not land where you wanted it to land.

Okay so I've narrowed it down to these two. Razer Destructor and the SteelSeries 9HD. Does anyone know which one has the smoothest glide?(I'm kind of leaning towards the razer because it comes with a case but if the 9hd has superior glide then I will go for the hd)

Thanks!
