The 7nm GPU is Vega 20. Regardless so far it looks promising.

TPU messed up the tittle LOL.

I do not think even Navi in 7nm can match 1080 Ti.

I bet the climb in AMD stock was because of this.

Just read an article on CNBC about AMDs stock. This is nothing but good news for all of the PC community. Wether you buy AMD or are an intel loyalist, only good things will come from this competition. New, faster products from both sides. And competitive pricing to remain relevant from both sides. Unsure how, if any this will affect NVidia. Heres hoping that this speeds up 7nm GeForce cards as well.

The only losers out of this may be those who purchase(d) RTX 20 cards 🏻

Man if that ends up being true, then it is truly a sad, sad time in the tech world.

I hope you are wrong. I for one am hopeful to see what 7nm Navi can do.

How is this news? Nothing is being "fast tracked". This is just a repost of the timeline that has already been established.

AMD got 2 upgrades in the same day, both to 30$, from 19$, and 22$. Recived few upgrades earlier also.

Rumors indicate its a Polaris replacement first. That means you are looking at 2060-2070 perf. Both are most likely less less than 1080 Ti. Even $800 2080 is on par with 1080 Ti. Its all about price.
