Can't wait to get the new Ryzen. I miss my 2700x build and hate this new 9th gen setup.

wait, so are all the leaks about 5GHz 16 core for <$500 with 15% IPC gains ACTUALLY credible????

EDIT: some context, I'm tying this leak with the recent leaks somehow, must need some go juice (coffee)

But why would you miss 2700x setup which is inferior to intel 9th gen :\

Wrong in every way and I won't start a flame war with you. I will encourage you to waste money on the intel then buy the 2700x setup and report back with what one you rather spend your money on after using both for a few months.

That is why I sold my i9 and went back to an 8700k ( I also have kept my 2600x gaming pc )
I was dumb enough to think an i9 9900k mini itx ( fractal design define S nano - Asus Rog strix Z370-i gaming) with a 120mm aoi would be "cool". not so much

I need an upgrade from my i5 6600K... well, sort of need. Kind of.

Intel Core i5 9700K or 2700X or 3850X... I'm leaning towards AMD this time... though I'm not sure. I feel like I should wait til the 3xxx series, or just get Intel.

Will the X570 support the Ryzen 1700? Hate the X370 I've got now, rubbish to overclock with, VRM's hit 95C easy with the cores at 3.6GHz Can't even overclock my RAM another 200MHz either.

It should be compatible. However it is only a leak. So no way to know for sure.

...what? You hate a superior product because... muh AMD?

Oh yeah... muh AMD + use-case scenario (and to reply to what you're gonna say before you do, no one is saying AMD's Ryzen line-up doesn't have a better priceerf ratio - but the i9-9900k is a superior product).

Yeah that's definitely user error and not the product's fault. This is why reviews exist.
