Well atleast not as bad as Nvidia where they're still on store shelves because they tried to upsell a card with junk performance on features that are under developed. No wonder their CEO is being investigated. I mean the "lying no matter the cost" flows top down.
So much hate enjoy life dude relax

One thing I'm paying close attention to is the pixel fill rates. One thing AMD cards have suffered from is lower PFR vs Nvidia. Although not the only factor; PFR greater or equal to RTX will instill confidence in AMD's ability to be a better card with driver updates some where down the road IMO.

VII is highly priced due to the cost of the 16GB HBM2.

Intel Core i9 9900K HT 5GHz
GIGABYTE Z390 Ultra
AMD ASUS STRIX OC VEGA 64
G-Skill Trident 2x8GB DDR4 4000MHz
Samsung EVO NVM.e 250GB
SeaSonic 1250W Gold
Corsair 900D + Custom Loop.

If you need a card for OpenCl tasks- get it. Other than that it's essentially 2080\1080ti as AMD promised.

Basically the way how and why i am considering upgrades for my GPUs for last 10 years. Just one note...

Pixel Fillrate might be slowed down on VRAM (both bandwidth and latency), and also specific resolution and specific refresh rate can be calculated from this value. In recent years Nvidia offered higher values in Pixel Fillrates, slightly lacking in shading capabilities...

Edit: Also when you check the table you migh recognize that higher Pixel Fillrate in combination with slower shading means that cards age faster - as the line between "running flawlessly" and " unplayable on high details" becomes more noticeable.

Some early benches.

FF15 is broken for benchmarking.
First 3dmark results started to popup.

The leak is generally correct on GPU performance benchmarks, but as i said earlier the Combined benchmark is obviously wrong.

I think going for 16GB of HBM2 killed any potential for the gaming market. Price is too steep for what it offers.
