Not a good idea to get new AMD cards at launch. Waiting out for supply to stabalize would be a good thing.
I think this might be one of those collector's cards ... they make 5k and then never make another again. Collectors will get them while they can.
I think the only reason they're making anything is due to that promise made by the now departed head of RTG to release on a regular schedule. At least I think he's gone now ... mostly due to this foot in mouth promise.
disappointing, yes. but really i am looking toward navi. the R7 (or whatever) is just a place holder IMO.
i think its more important that AMD gets it (navi) to market reasonably soon.

So I expect these to sellout just like the preorders of the RTX lineup. If there is a shortage during the 2nd shipment...we got a problem. Also, no gaming bench leaks and this card is out tomorrow?! What is going on in the interwebs?!
It has gone dark, on the regular web all we get is marketing and rumors. One would have to dig into dark web to get some good stuff.
Seems like shenanigans again.
"Since writing the article, we have been contacted by another UK based retailer claiming to have well over 100 cards in their own personal stock. They have, however, referred to 3rd-party custom models which, at our last indication, were not part of the official Radeon VII launch." https://www.eteknix.com/retailer-say...eon-vii-cards/
