Looks like the motherboard guys are finally taking AMD seriously. I just hope this time round we actually get good mATX boards with proper power delivery, heatsinks & features because the current selection is an utter joke.

Nice to see more boards on offer. The Formula and WS boards have my interest but I really hope AMD has a board with the Dim.2 riser so we can fit more than one nvme ssd.

I think the most interesting thing is the ROG CROSSHAIR VIII IMPACT.

We didn't get a proper impact board for the Z370 and Z390 intel boards but if we're getting a corsshair VIII impact, that means they're redesigning the mini itx ROG board for a power hungry Ryzen 3 chip. That also means we may see the intel version of that board for the next round of intel comet lake processors!

Hopefully that matx has decent vrms...

With the 3xx/4xx series it seemed like you either needed to get a mid-high (or better) atx board or a decent ITX board (like the MSI B450I/Asus B450/X470/X370 itx boards) if you wanted a decent VRM.
Would have loved if they stretched out any of those ITX boards to get a proper mATX, but oh well.

ASUS impact is high end ITX
ASus Formula is watercooled VRM usually

Asrock Extreme4 & extreme6 was one of the most popular boards on Intel before Taichi came around
