Can't forget Vega "overclockers dream".

Please AMD do so that the products speak for themselves and the advantages that have to the competition. I want to be proud that I buy your GPU (like I did with Ryzen CPU).

AMD changed the entire paradigm of the CPU industry literally overnight. Was it all due to Keller? Of course not, but there's nothing to suggest that he isn't the mythical miracle-worker that he's portrayed as either...
Jim Keller is an extraordinary engineer and lead. Might even have the edge to turn a great project into something special. But you gotta be quite new to engineering work to think that one person alone can change much in a project as a whole.

You didn't hear of him anywhere else but when he was working at AMD and I honestly think you won't hear of him at Intel.

To be fair some of that is the 19% VAT. I'm guessing most of the rest is from that extra consumer protection you guys have over there. That can't be free to retailers.
We also have sales tax. In Wisconsin it is 5% and they don't list that in the price, it is tacked on in your cart. But if a retailer doesn't have a physical location in WI, they aren't required to charge you WI sales tax and you are encouraged to report it on your annual tax filing with some kind of honor system. I don't know if many people do though.

Something around the 2070 mark should not be above $350 at most.

Latest rumor (leak from 4chan):
Draw Stream Binning Rasterizer will be marketed as "Next Gen"
Navi is NGG
L1 cache has been doubled (32kB)
L2 is 3076kB
still 256 bus
410GB/s memory bandwidth
Boosts over 1.8GHz
performance is already between Vega 56 and 1080
150W TDP
259$ for the full chip reference design cards
http://boards.4channel.org/g/thread/...utes#p70553976

Specs are believable, but not something new (close to AdoredTV leaks and speculations).

All I care about is the CPU and the motherboards. I have little doubt that whatever GPU they introduce will have zero appeal to me.

Agree.

BTW, how you liking those new gpu's? Last I saw you had a 1080Ti.

I have a big bang house. I had all the materials for my new house brought in and dumped on a vacant lot. I took a stick of dynamite, lit the fuse on fire and tossed it into the pile of materials. BOOM went the explosion and when the dust settled I had a new house! Amazing isn't it?

I doubt many RTX adopters give a crap about what a console can or can't do. It will still be a playstation, ray tracing or not.

I like them both. I got the 2080ti through a to good to be true type of situation (scorned woman) so I don't really use the RVII or 1080ti for gaming right now. The RVII will be going into my new work machine as soon as AMD launches new cpu's.
