well, i do hope they would be. tbh, i did quote the reddit reply from epic for fairness but community guidelines on how much to quote in the OP (but why bother, everything is getting ignored anyways and the mods are practically non-existent anymore).
but quoting the article:
This thread hasn’t gone completely ignored by Epic Games though, with a member of staff having replied, linking to a blog post
on the Epic Games website that is kept updated with information regarding payments. According to this page, there are 43,285 payments promised to players going back to July 2018. Of these, only 4,398 of these have been sent out. It was also stated that they are also waiting for confirmation from 1,687 players for payments to be sent out.
it does seem that close to a year went by w/about ~10% of payments going out.
but idk, epic does get a lot of hate thrown their way, maybe some undeservedly, i really don't care about publisher wars between steam, epic, uplay, origin etc. i only care about getting a game at a decent price.
but if anyone held a contest and was slow to pay, or no pay, i wouldn't look much to them in other matters. unless they just admitted to royally screwing up if they did; that i can almost
always forgive if they are honest.
