Its fun to let the imagination run wild isn't??

For now big gulp of a salt and this practical rumour means a whole lot of nothing atm. While im sure big navi is coming this is just letting the rumour mill steam roll.

Nvidia registered Ampere card a year and a half ago and those cards still arent expected for another 6 months:
https://videocardz.com/76967/nvidia-...400-gpu-at-eec

So this 5900XT here doesnt mean anything. That Ampere registration is why everyone was talking about Ampere being the desktop cards and Turing maybe only being for server back before Turing was even announced or released. And yet now we know how that situation turned out.
Sorry to rain on the hype train.

you mean radeon group has almost no long game right now besides consoles and close enough?!

shock

I still expect them to be able to drop something ~2080ti (north or south), then amp will come steamroll.

Add me on Steam, same name

If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

Honestly, they cannot plan on waiting that long to release a high end part. They need something out NOW that can beat a 1080 Ti for $500 USD

Wow I miss the early 2000s. I feel like this all started with the 8800GTX blowing GPU prices and performance out of the water.

I miss $250 GPUs that could still play everything.

Oh good to know. I might go that route but until I stop playing Skyrim and other 10 year old games, I don't have much reason to upgrade right now LOL.

I miss $250 GPUs that could still play everything.
