Isn't this just a rehash of another rehash of another rehash?

Too much power usage in too close space like AVX512 kills CPU. Why run CPU at 3 GHz with AVX512 when you can run CPU at 5GHz without it? For most applications the durability of CPU is what matters. If you want performance, get cheap 6-core now, low cost EUV CPU later.

Current best CPUs are Ryzen 4xxx with its 8 cores on single die and improved 7 nm process. And one to three years after that, Intel would either manage to get something power efficient long lasting, or lose PC market completely.

Intel changes chipsets like I change toilet paper.

Okay maybe not that frequently. But those mega rolls do last a long time.

Im still waiting for Intel to up the number of PCIe lanes on their bread and butter products.

Both companies put out a new chipset with a new series of processors. It's the socket that Intel changes more often than AMD.

Sorry, you must be a logical rational person. We only support intel with undying love here. You should see how much more FPS you get at 4k gaming, and AMD has latency so bad it has to speed up to stop. Real gamers buy every new intel cpu before it launches. Intel has superior gaming, and latency. Productivity or security are not even worth thinking about. GAMING LATENCY REAL WORLD PERFORMANCE! /s

It doesnt change the fundamental problem.

That is you have to change motherboard each time you upgrade your Intel CPU, while AMD can stick with same motherboard for almost 4 generation.

I am getting a whiff of sarcasm. There is some truth to what you typed, some people will support Intel no matter what (same with AMD), and there are benefits to using an Intel processor for gaming.

I allways sell MB and cpu together. Easy to sell. Not to many want to buy a old cpu alone. Atleast not here in Norway. In other countries, I do not know.

I sold 3800x with x370 MB, and bought x570 and 3900x. The other way was to throw 3800x in the garbage can So for me it was better to sell the combo.
