We've all got that guy, and unless they've got a stellar resume or know someone really well I question how they got in the door.

Target audience. I'm fairly confident that anyone who even knows about OCN, let alone posts here are definitely NOT his target audience.

he's tier one, but at our shop tier one must support 14 separate azure>>360 environments, two of which also have on prem ADs, NO SCRTIPTS! SOPs? yes, a few. but you've gotta be willing to go look for yourself. we don't have super fancy solutions that detect key words & assets, dumping it all into the ticket for you to copy/paste/remote into in one click. It requires a bit of work. we're a small shop.

anywhere else, he'd be completely proficient at the task. it's the etiquette, attitude, and boundaries that drive me up a wall. stop sliiiiiiding over n rubber necking my screens yo. stop pissing n *****ing about every. single. ticket. you've been here for a month now, you've seen 99% of the issues you're gonna see. you said you love documentation? then write it tf down, so you stop asking us EVERY TIME. (ordered some privacies, but damn, i shouldn't have to!)

people fail to realize the dark cloud of nasty they emit when they complain about every single task they have to complete. at least some folks are capable of twisting it into humor instead. works for me. mock and make fun all you want when you're off the phones, just don't complain. this is also why I setup a station in the inventory store

and no, we didn't have that one guy 2 weeks.

If Google stopped promoting clickbait rubbish to frontpage and recommendations these channels would die off fast. But that's what people in general want, rubbish content, crap ton of it, clickbait and spreading fear. The worse the content the more promoted and thus popular. Google promotes what ever gets them the most ads, they censor the crap out of even tech channels and while some did go down in quality a little, these Google changes to promotion that they are "testing out" kill off a good portion of good tech channels too as they are no longer able to make the videos for YT which has turned into a platform for coporations/companies/large media, not for people anymore for a while.

eh, its pretty chicken and egg at this point.

the corporations fund the front page content, etc etc, the people are getting what they've been told to want/is readily available, and most people are low effort af.

don't believe me? look @ Linus's office, home/life. dude's straight ballin off the shill $ and ad $ which combined = top genre content. Now he's just gotta transition it into an ATM & go live it up with the fam.

Yea, Tek Syndicate was good stuff until, well, the big bang as I'll call it. Wendell, Qain, Logan, Pistol all had good input in different areas. Wendell & Qain's actual experience and knowledge really put them well above most channels but yea... falling out and all that. Logan & Pistol also made it great when they focused on gameplay, etc.
