The funny thing is 48GB goes to the lower core count part, is that a typo error?

Anyway if anything its probably another 2 Quadro variants. 3080 and Ti wont be having so much memory for sure, also these 2 variant seem to cut out from the same chip.
did they say if it's hbm2e or GDDR6 Vram?

If its HBM2e it's the volta replacement, GDDR6 it's turing replacement imo.

i forgot the current titan has 24gb already.

does anyone really expect the gaming segment to have such low clocks though? trend has been nothing but up.

Add me on Steam, same name

If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.
Best R0ach Quote of all time : TLDR: Haswell might be the last legit gaming platform unless mice get their own non-USB interface on some newer architecture.

I'm thinking workstation cards without the RTX stuff.. more room on die for extra cuda cores.

Using those RTX cores will be replace by DP 64 compute unit, those core occupy alot of space too.

At this point workstation users would prefer more tensor cores and RT cores than CUDA cores. Don't forget this is a die shrink.

It could comes with DP unit as well, forming a holy grail professional card that can do all.

This is my take on what is in for upcoming GA chips:

GA100 - 6 GPC w/ 7680 Cores @ 24/48GB, RTX+Tensor+DP (possible 800mm^2+ die szie)
GA102 - 4 GPC w/ 5120 Cores @ 16/32GB, RTX+Tensor+DP
GA103 - 6 GPC w/ 6144 Cores @ 18/24GB, RTX+Tensor
GA104 - 4 GPC w/ 4096 Cores @ 12/16GB, RTX+Tensor

Despite lesser cores, GA102 might still be bigger than GA103 due to extra DP compute unit involved. GA100 & 102 might have higher SM per GPC compared to the rest, this is extrapolate based on Volta vs Pascal GPC configuration.

Why do jokes always come true? We Floridians always joke about how the epidemic will come in from cali.

speaking of disease & cargo floating in from china... california has this idea (supposedly in place, to happen soon) to use cruise ships to house away the homeless crisis. what kinda nasty gonna come outta that place? N what ever happened to quarantining cargo ships to keep world trade alive, just behind by some weeks.

ok more everspace time. this game lacks two things. a spotlight, and a zoom.
What controls are you using to play Everspace?
I tried with a flight stick and was woefully disappointed, from what I remember the game desperately needs deadzone calibration.

just kb+m.

I haven't gotten my warthog outta storage yet, and still need to order modern desk>>stick mounts.

i've yet to meet a space game with stick support that doesn't require hours of custom configuring before I'm able to play properly.
