I almost believe it until I saw GDDR7.


I mean they could make it 32GB GDDR6 with 1TB/s and it would be way more believable. Afterall 1TB/s might be sufficient to feed something that is twice as beefy as 5700 XT.

Yeah, but can it play Crysis?

My R9 390 has black screen issues. At idle everything is fine but in game I get a black screen every minute or so. Makes FPS firefights all that more difficult and intense though, so it's got that going for it.

Hawaii had a blackscreen issue when overclocking as most GPU's do. However there was a special one in Hawaii that would cause intermittent black screens for 1-2seconds in games when heavily overclocked. If i recall it was something to do with the over voltage and display outputs. I cannot recall which ports did it, but try using DP or DVI instead of HDMI port(or vice versa). You may be running into this issue, also may depend on the cable as well

If you got yours second hand from likes of ebay, you may have a modified bios on the card for mining. Might want to check that as well and put a stock bios on it.
