Some interesting table, that have RTX 3090 too... And 20GB VRAM for Big Navi wow!

God damn, the specs on that 6900 XT look pristine! No 9 GB/s SSD, no problem! Just put the entire game's worth of textures on the VRAM, lol.

If the coresXfrequency ends up translating similarly into actual performance, we might be seeing parity, at last, between nVidia and AMD. We can just let them fight it out and buy whatever is best.

There's the whole thing about ray/pathtracing, the trajectory of which points to green cards being more well-suited, but I guess it's wait and see.

That table is close to true then AMD will get my GPU money as an upgrade from the 1080ti I have.

NVIDIA has been incredibly good with not leaking any information regarding their releases for a good long while now. I doubt any of this information is true, I feel like people are just hearing what they want to hear. GDDR6X isn't even a JEDEC standard for memory.

The only thing I believe is that September is possibly the time in which we'll get some sort of launch for the next-generation. I must admit, I'm tiring of this 1080Ti and here's hoping the 3080Ti is a worthy upgrade.

Ryzen 9 3900X | Acer Predator XB271HU | EVGA GTX 1080Ti | ASUS Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi) | 512GB Samsung 970 Pro | 1TB Samsung 860 EVO | Corsair HX850i | Corsair 900D

Also RIP airflow in your case.
You missed the the recap thumbnail:
"Current engineering samples continue to be a makeshift 3 fan design. Leaked design NOT confirmed, but LOOKS real."

It's real as in the sense we saw a physical model, it's not a render or Photoshop (probably), but the design is horrendously flawed. If they're going to cram that many cores in running at 2.5GHz, they'll need something better than that.

As for the person who brought up console... why are you here?
Welcome to the 21st century stranger. As you have noticed there is a diverse culture of PC enthusiasts here. Which is not limited to your bias.

It is very apparent that if this kind of cooling is real it will only add to the cost of the video card. Which is during a time which next gen consoles would be released at a cheaper price.

It would be very obtuse and hubris to ignore the majority of the gaming market when factoring what people will pay as a whole.

However, it's clear to me you have a expectation that $1000's need to be spent in order to be a PC enthusiast.

Well it's a bizarre cooling solution if real. Guess time will tell.

Fixed my freezing PC issue. Turned out that my CPU water block jet plate was blocked up with some kinda gunk and the flow was severely restricted and CPU was hitting 100C under load. Cleaned it out real good and did another flush of the loop (which I have done before, so not sure where the crud came from).

Anyway, bought myself some time before upgrading. Not keen on upgrading the 980 to a 2070 Super which is give or take on par with a 1080 Ti from 2016. Hope the 3000 series/Big Navi turn out to be worthy upgrades that don't make the price creeping go up again, though not holding my breath there. Aside from the new feature set, there's nothing making me want to upgrade to the 2070 Super when it's raw performance is on par with a card from 2016.

I think they had to make the FE a 2 slot card. We'll see plenty of titanic sinks once 3rd parties come out.

Yeah March 8 I believe. I bought it on launch day. So I've had this bad boy 3 years. It's my second longest running GPU. Although the Voodoo2 was an accelerator technically but I had it for almost 5 years.
