AMD has consistently let me down since the late 2000's. No joke, the last card I purchased from team red was a 9800pro. The early ATI days were wonderful times.
Nah. When AMD has a product that competes within 10% of Nvidia's top end consumer card, enthusiasts mostly won't buy it because it's not "the best." And AMD won't price it significantly lower, so it'll be one of those "pay an extra $50, get Nvidia drivers" sort of scenarios- and AMD does have terrible drivers for the first 6+ months of a card's life, it seems. I'll still buy one though, because I personally dislike Leather Jacket Man.

Hilarious! I was actually about to refer to him as leather jacket man. You're probably right in any case.

Nvidia buying 3DFX made me mad, but they were in a bad spot. Still wonder how well scan line interleave would work today. Back when multigpu was worth it without a question.

GPU i currently own: R9 390/290x/290/390x/FuryX/Vega FE/RX Vega 64/ - CPUs: 5960x/R7 1700/X5650x2/E5 2863/e5 2670/R5 3600/FX 9590

Ah c'mon man, surely you can admit that multi-GPU looked awesome. Especially looking at those crazy setups from Trubritar and Maxishine with their quad-sli 480 flamethrower rigs, lmao

~32% performance over the 2080ti with ~5% performance cost enabling ray tracing; besides the slide in the OP that has $999 w/AIO.

anything else i wasn't paying attention.

Remember the golden rule of statistics: A personal sample size of one is a sufficient basis upon which to draw universal conclusions.

definitely looked, and performed awesome for many moons. ( rocked 3xGK110 at one point!)

those moons have mostly passed for now. MCM will bring them back.

This channel is getting way to much crediblity for coming out of nowhere.

I was think the other day, what if I made a tech chanel, made a bunch of half believable rumors up, rode the wave of popularity for a year till all my rumours where found fake and it came crashing down on me. But i mean even if you retain an 1/8th of your fanbase after spewing nonsense, you still be probably doing ok in the youtube world?

that's a key indicator of how stupidly indoctrinated everyone is as far as believing something they see on a screen.

the guy is pretty much creating his own leaks to keep himself going.
