that's the main issue conspiracy theorists and MSM share. they reference themselves in the past as evidence towards being right in the present/future.

Even super models only hit half that with the fastest available 16 Gbit GDDR6.

So unless we get some massively faster GDDR6 and much higher bus width I don't see that happening.

Titan RTX 384 Bit @ 672 GB/s
2080 TI 352 Bit @ 616 GB/s
2080 Super 256 Bit @ 496 GB/s
To be fair, AMD usually uses a much larger bus than Nvidia. I think that was due to the way GCN functioned though.

I'll still buy one though, because I personally dislike Leather Jacket Man.
That's the problem Radeon has right now. To the average Joe, Nvidia would be seen as the ultimate for gaming and a status symbol like buying an Apple product or Beats headphones. AMD's driver issues don't do it any favors in this regard either even if they start competing again at the high end.

That would be a strange ram size for AMD.

Remember drooling over the FX 5800.. Still want one to this day, have old pictures saved still from those days lol But we know how that ended up. Went with ATI, loved the All-In-Wonder, have a ton of old shows recorded somewhere. Closest I got to a old school media center.

*Back when a top end card could be had for $399

This one is fake as hell. Jagged aliased edges on the fonts, the price set several months before the actual release... sure.

That's why I think AMD needs to demand a Radeon sticker on the outside of every console sold. New PC builders have been using Radeon GPUs all this time, and just didn't know it, lol

Seriously though, the only real hope for AMD would be to beat Nvidia on performance and pricing for multiple generations. They'd have to pull a Ryzen and launch something that kicks the crap out of Nvidia's highest end product and sell it for less, but they won't.
