Fanboism is politics, that previous statement I made is a pretty safe global statement even though there really are no absolutes.

The politics are red AMd Blue Intel Green Nvidia.

There use to be a button on here for choosing sides that would display your badge of choice I always hated that.

That is the mindset that stifles innovation and does not reward good work from any avenue, foolish sheep that follow are part of the problem in this world. On a larger stage it is how we are run by a duopoly A Monopoly of 2.

Side note on the old badges is that when you signed up the site asked you to choose and then it wasn't removable so you did have a choice to change but not to remove. I never chose it when I signed up so I never had a badge displayed. I've been in this game a long time and know how to dodge alot of the pitfalls.

Hi,
I passed on nvidia 20 series because of the early death reports it was that simple I do not live for rma shipping costs on 12-1500.us gpu's they don't give insurance for free.

Oh man I would've been mighty ticked if that happened to me. Lots of us are going to be mad if that sort of thing happens to the next gen stuff.

I'm 99% sure I'll be buying whatever 3080 or maybe 3080 Ti tier product they offer, but I'm going to keep an eye out now if it starts acting strangely on me. Probably go with another EVGA card because of the easy warranty/RMA process with them if an issue ever does come up.

Yeah, Evga makes quality products and stands behind them.
I've gone through quite a few of them when I was folding with a very low failure rate.

Added: Their GPU's not Mobos or power supplies.

I just go for whatever product best suits my needs at the best price. I don't care who makes it.
