https://wccftech.com/nvidia-geforce-...dmark-timespy/

Take note its 3080 only which score 8600 pts, or 12% faster than MSI 2080 Ti Lightning Z OCed.

The 3080 Ti however, is almost 10K TSE score.

Take your own grain of salt guys.

Sounds about right to me. AMD and Nvidia are finally going to be close in terms of performance again

That's against a stock OEM 2080ti. When you factor in OC'd cards like the Kingpinm etc. The difference can dwindle down to 20% - 0%.

Yep, because every Turing AIB card can run at 2,745Mhz.

Oh, and lets not forget that the score is "almost" 8600. For all we know it could be 8501. LOL

To be fair, according to all the leaks I've seen, RT performance on the 3080 is going to be 2x or more than that of a 2080 Ti. And as RT becomes far more used in the next year it will definitely differentiate itself from the 2080 Ti. (That and DLSS 3.0)

Oh, I'm sure the RT performance will make Turing look like Keplerl did with DX12/Vulkan.

LOL...

LN2 or extreme cooling solution runs should not be in the same "hall of fame" as off-the-shelf GPUs. It provides a skewed picture and we have people confused as in the post you quoted above.

I'm skeptical we see that much of performance increase, especially as it will only be on Samsung 8nm and not the superior TSMC nodes. Such a boost will surely be expensive though, and if the other rumors du jour about Navi not being able to punch at similar weights, this is bad news for wallets.
