Massive failure for AMD incoming, doom and gloom etc.. Can't deliver previous rumor 500% faster than 3080ti youtuber insider leak oh no! Monopoly continues, as blackscreens plague users. I hope they lowball the price so nvidia will lower theirs some... etc...

it's probalby due to the core latency and low memory speeds, also they should use a new logo and it will fix all issues.

As far as I know it was supposed to be a Turing competitor except they always take so many years to get it to stores that by the time it's out their competitor is out of production and replaced by a newer generation. So if they designed it and were able to compete with a 2080 Ti, that's nice but now a 3080 is likely to offer that performance too. This is a long running theme with AMD now, when they do launch a high end product it's that one step below the fastest on market. Expect similar performance and pricing as their partner in crime Nvidia.

Calling it right now, This is the 64CU, 6800XT

There's still an 80CU variant, 6900XT

AMD not competitive with Nvidia's big chip? Shocker. Next someone will tell me the sky is blue.

"Report claims" "will reportedly" "Coreteks report also suggests"

Where is the hardware news? Just more rumors from Coreteks. Seems like people just read titles now adays instead of reading the article before posting.

Coreteks is super wishy-washy on his rumors too, not even a good rumor guy.

It also makes no sense. A 5700XT is roughly 35% worse than a 2080 Ti. You're really telling me that they doubled the CU count, increased clockspeed by 25%, strapped 16GB of HBM2E on it and only got +50% performance? Nah. It's the 6800XT. The math adds up to 64 CUs w/ diminishing returns and a 384-bit GDDR6 bus.

An 80 CU GPU at above 2GHz would be more like +40-50% on a 3080 Ti. Unless AMD took a MASSIVE step backwards in terms of architecture, it's literally impossible that it only hits +15% on a 2080 Ti.

There are 3 skus rumored with a 4th being a halo sku.
All the leaks seems to reflect different skus.
The halo sku is rumored to be a 96cu part. But won't be revealed until 2021.

I've heard 6 SKUs with 3 designs

Navi 21 (BIG navi) 80/72CU chip w/ HBM2e (6900/XT)
Navi 22 (big navi) 64/56CU chip w/ 384-bit GDDR6 (6800/XT)
Navi 23 (lil navi) 40/36CU chip w/ 256-bit GDDR6 (6700/XT)

I haven't heard anything about a 96 CU variant of Navi 21 for a long time. Anything's possible, but I can see a 6900XT SE (like the 5700XT SE) with much higher clocks and maybe liquid cooled
