Nice, the 990FXA UD3 hit a bloody boot loop after an hour under Cascade, drying it out and going to see if I add some more insulation and try it again. Till then, see if the FM2 Piledriver helps any. thumb.gif

The only AMD I have now is an 8150, the fxa 990 ud5 ate the others. Don't think I'll be able to get any ln2 until next week so probably won't be able to do much for the Ivy stage, michaelrw has a killer 3770k though.
Think I'll be stuck until the Vantage stage.

I'm curious too. Was thinking of going down to Frys after work, but I don't think they have FM2 stuff in stock yet...

I'm not terribly impressed so far, 20sec at 4.7 is well above what a Deneb core will do. Although, I'm having trouble with the memory overclocking so that could be partly to blame. Need more time to fool with the board.

True... deneb was around 14ish sec at those freq. How high did the NB go on air? It "might" keep up with deneb if all the freq where maxed and the core was 7.2+ maybe...

You like that board? redface.gif

I got the board on sale, $30 cheaper than the highest end Asus board, so I went for it since I liked the UD4H in FM1. Seems pretty solid though, think I had the NB up to 2400 but I don't think it was maxed, I didn't fool with it too much since I was more worried about the memory which I couldn't get to overclock as high as I was expecting. I'll give it another go tonight and see my max air score (well I limited myself to 1.5v for air since the temps load to high 40s)

What's the best core validating at? Would be a better measure.

Btw man your avatar gives me the creeps.Totally reminds me of the first wife before and after the wedding.doh.gif

Looks like Vishera may be taking records when released,Trinity is up to 7.42.
