The annual competition for world's greatest overclocking team has been raging since July.  HWBOT holds the competition every year which sees more than a 100 different teams competing in a wide variety of stages to take the championship.  Last year Overclock.net fell just short of 1st place, taking second with eyes on the top spot in 2016.

Overclock.net has overclocked their way into a good position with just about a month left in the competition.  Currently firmly entrenched in second place, there are plenty of stages that need scores and improvements.  To give all the members of the team that little extra incentive, OCN is announcing that it be awarding prizes to those members that put up the most points for the team during the HWBOT Team Cup.

Official HWBOT Team Cup page

The prizes will be awarded based on how many points you can score for the team.  Any time you have a score used for the competition, the amount of points you gather for the team are added together to give your total points.  The highest amount of points will be awarded the top prize going down the list to 5th place.

The last prize, the dogpile prize, will be awarded randomly.  Each entry into the dogpile stages will earn you a ballot in the random drawing.  The more scores you put up for the dogpile means the more chances you have to gain the prize.

1st Place - $125
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50

4th Place - $50

5th Place - $25

Dogpile Prize - $50

Lots of great scores have already been put up for the competition and plenty more to come.  Keep on pushing and show the world where the greatest overclockers in the world call home!

Awesome!! I don't know how I missed this before today. Is there any way to see a running total of the contribution points or is it something that needs to be calculated once the dust has settled?

Last year it was counted when HWBot announced the final result.

DDR2 Frequency 1st Place = 910.1MHz DDR (1820.2MHz) - http://hwbot.org/submission/3589779

Reference Frequency 10th Place = 711.18MHz - https://hwbot.org/submission/3978447_

Its been pretty brutal schedule for me this whole summer.  I'm hoping once the actual contracts starts on Nov 1 that all this prep work will mean everything goes smoothly.  The worst are all the meetings just to say 'hi' because everyone wants to do hand shakes and hugs.
