1.This competition is doing and sponzoring by myself, its doing also at another forums (HWBOT, Xtremesystems)
2.The winner is only one and will be first guy, who will hit target score or better score uploaded at HWBOT validation system

What is the competition? Challenge in Superpi 32M with AMD Ryzens for hardware worldrecord (AMD worldrecord). You will fight for sub 6 minutes 32M run. Yes, its not easy, but I would like to support AMD extreme overlcockers to do some fun with Ryzen. Its clear, for this score you need LN2 cooling (maybe also phase and gold chip). In summary:

Ryzen 3,5,7 CPU is only allowed
Superpi 32M benchmark http://bit.ly/2n7qv6m
The final results must included HWBOT submit (with your HWBOT nick) and photo of your rig
At final screenshot of result must be CPU-Z with CPU, memory, motherboard info as we know from HWBOT results
Windows 10 is not allowed (bug with clocks), so only Win7 or WinXP
Competition ends at 31.10.2017, if nobody beat 6minutes target, the prize will be not paid!

Prize for the first winner (sub 6 minutes time): 150 USD
Second prize 50 USD for 5GHz challenge at Ryzen for 6min 59s or less!
I know, its not something special, but its from my personal money smile.gif

Superpi 32M benchmark to download: http://bit.ly/2n7qv6m

Have fun guys and good luck smile.gif

Ok ok...i see you are serious and want a fast time....

Let me find an open box taichi...or get my gigabyte boards back from RMA.

Time to give the haters something more to hate on..

The problem with the internet today is the lack of accountability.

On pc forums User A says no its safe costs users B,C an D $600 to find out he was wrong. User A gets off scot free.

On the race car forums it is no different except $ amount. User A says turn the boost up to 26lbs. User B,C and D lifted a head gasket, cracked a piston ring, melted a piston...or worse just sent a rod through block due to detonation. $3k in damages. User A gets off scot free.

Avoid the A's they will put a hole in your wallet.

OS optimization really not needed.

Best optimization might be xp...although...x86 may not work right. Might need 64 bit.

Currently trying to find a used/open box taich or k7 now...

Sub 7s are achieved by blood sacrifice.

Just to show proper scaling and how much time goes into my findings.......

Projected proper efficiency is roughly 9.5 seconds shaved per 100 MHz at rather horrible memory speeds.

This means the above run was "slow" ( equivalent of a 4.9 run ) still even admittedly a poor result it was enough to hit sub 7........it is not hard.

4.0

4.6
