Oh jeez. I want to see one first hand. We are finally getting to a point where I might want to kick my CRT's to the side.

Sadly though it 'd be a toss up between trying my luck on an overclockable koreatron, or one of these for this price.

resolution also a limiting factor. ( even though it makes it easier to keep up with the refresh without 9 GPU's

I'm buying 3 of them i think (not all at once i might add), i did want the Samsungs but the DP losing signal issue put me off those.

I'll take higher frame rates over higher resolution... so much so that I'll play a game in a window just to keep my fps higher. =p I just might return the 120hz monitor I just bought and hold out for this one. Lower frame rates give me motion sickness.

I would be more interested in a 23 inch version, it would be cheaper too. IMO 27 inches for FPS is too big.

Yeah, 27in for a serious gaming monitor is just blah. Also, hopefully they have the issue sorted out for those who do want one, but the first model of the monitor had massive backlighting issues - an oval-like object would be very visible after using the monitor for a day or something.

I really hope this goes on sale in the states this week or next week. Its on sale now in UK and aus I think, watch them delay it by 2 months here. Dying to buy one for a new build

I just made the switch from 120hz to 1440p. Not gonna lie I miss my 120hz for BF3.

Almost makes me want to get this monitor. 120hz 1080p pushed my GTX 680 harder than this 1440p monitor does.
