Quick headsup... after 6 hours of use two dead pixels appered on the screen.

One of them barely noticiable and another is more pronounced (more like 3-4 dead pixels togather).

Contacted the seller and he issued a $50 refund (hard to find places them pixels so gonna keep the screen).

Tried Overclocking the panel... nothing works on DP... might switchto HDMI and test it there too.

Hey guys so far how does this monitor compare to Qnix/X-Star 1440p Monitors? Is there a huge difference on the matte vs gloss? As of now just trying to figure out were I want to go on my next monitor setup.
Thanks

HDMI is even worse, at max bandwidth it only supports 4K 30Hz.

even HDMI 2.0 only goes up to 4K 60Hz, which is already supported by Displayport 1.2, and DP 1.2 has the same 4K 60Hz limit.

At this point you have to wait for DP 1.3 for 4K 120hz monitors.

And even then that requires SLI Maxwell GM110s to do so.

I have gloss at home and matte at work. At home, my place is pretty dark, so the gloss is ok during the day when I have the blinds closed. However at work, I sit next to a window, so the gloss would be a no go for me because of reflections from the day time light from the office and the outside.

If you tend to sit somewhere with lots of background light or windows not shaded during the day. I wouldn't recommend a gloss panel.

Anyone play World of Warcraft on this yet? With WoW being more of a CPU-bound game, using this screen would you still be able to run it on ONE 780ti without any overly noticable drop in quality? I'm kinda assuming (hoping) you'd still see the dips to ~30 FPS in 25mans/cities, but still get the 60+ fps in "normal" places. Just like you do at lower/normal resolutions.

^I played bf4 conquest with 1 290 and i get 100fps (with low settings). I can see you hitting around the same fps, if not more playing wow @4k with a 780ti. You'll love it. The amount of detail is insane.

I am confused. I have 2 x GTX 690s so I know I can run one of these but the mention of "dead pixels" worries me. I have only ever had to RMA one component but if I pay £500 for this I am damned if I will have dead pixels.

Find a place with a good dead pixel policy.

Mine is good to go. Have over 24 hours of solid use with no dead pixels. I'll update as time goes by.
