Hi guys, just need a hand with monitor compatibility

For my upcoming (gtx980) build, I'm planning on having 2 monitors, but can only afford one G-Sync one. Taking this into account, I was planning on buying one AOC g2460PQU and then one g2460PG (the G-Sync one) at a later date. These appear to be in essence exactly the same monitor, just one has G-Sync capability.

However, would they both work together? I believe on the GTX980 there are multiple displayport outputs so I could run them both from individual outputs rather than daisychaining. Just to make it clear, only the G-Sync monitor will be used for gaming, the other will be used for skype etc at the same time. No surround gaming for me!

Also, the G-Sync g2460PG has a disgusting green plastic line along the front, the only aesthetic difference. Any idea on how I would remove that? Would sharpie be the best plan?

Many thanks!
