I'm attempting to get the official firmware update for my Seiki se39uy04 TV. I would also like the updated se50uy04 firmware for testing purposes. Unfortunately, they are no longer available on the official website.

I have the custom firmware by ae-?a currently installed, which does wonders for 120hz on my PC but leaves me with an inability to enable HD on my Xbox 360.

Does anyone have these firmware updates available for download? I've looked everywhere I can think of and everyone links to the website which no longer has them available.

How do you update firmware on a monitor anyway? Through the DVI port?

There's no standardized way, most monitors won't have any way for a consumer to do it at all. In this case it's through the TV's USB port.

I have the Se39Uy04 as well and I hate how laggy it feels when working with it. I remember there was a firmware update or hacked firmware or something that used some of the 50" code for the 39" model that significantly reduced the laggy feel. I never got around to installing it before but this thread reminded me of that. Is the file in the dropbox named "Custom made by ae-a www.overclock.net" the hacked firmware that gives a much better feel to the 4K mode?

DUDE. This just made me incredibly happy. Searched for quite some time for the 50 inch firmware. You are more loyal than Seiki's customer service.... Thank you again sir

I currently working with 50 official firmware, I have not tried the "Custom made by ae-to www.overclock.net" you are free to try the "Custom made by ae-to www.overclock.net" under its own risk.
