Also not many people are sensitive to pwm. Tempered glass is really a big plus here. Very easy to clean. I work and eat at my desk so it tent to get dirty quick and with this monitor. Totally ease the cleaning part and no need for expansive monitor cleaning stuff. The glass reflection is fine with me and does not bother me at all. Hardly any left when I closed my window certain

Edit: Got one working again.

I have 2 dead pixel which the location is really good. One is on the lower bottom right and the other are on the far top left.

I didn't really have a good idea of how to take off the glass from the few links and pics that had been posted before so hopefully this will serve as a mini-tutorial. It really is a piece of cake.

1. First thing to do is get a tool with a pointy end on a corner so you can pry it loose. A small screw driver or the end of a scissors will do. Breaking the first glue seal is a little tough so ok to use increasing force once you have it hooked from behind.

2. With the corner lifted what I did next was to grab a PC case bracket. Turns out this is an ideal tool for the job because the lip is just the right size and thickness.

3. Now just run the bracket across each of the four sides. Expect some resistance above and below towards the middle. Holding the bracket with a towel makes it more comfortable on the hand.

4. As you near the end of the last side the glass panel will start coming off on its own due to its weight but will conveniently hang on enough from all the glue still clinging. Run the bracket through on the places where it's most stuck so it doesn't rip the glue strip... not a biggie, just unsightly.

5. The panel is off, you're done!

I haven't done so yet but I'm going to guess that the glue strip left in the frame is going to lose its stickiness over time from dust so no point in leaving that mess on there. Some rubbing alcohol and a towel end wrapped around your finger should be able to get it off and hsould you ever need/want to put the glass back on you'd just need to get some of that double-sided glue tape back on the frame and it should be as good as new.

Just commenting on the last few posts.

- No dead/stuck pixels, pretty amazing feat as there are a LOT of pixels here!

- I didn't use any chemicals to remove the double sided tape from the monitor or the glass sneeze protector. You can gently lift the tape off and it leaves to mark at all, just got to be patient as it can tear and you have to pull it up again.

- I picked up this Vesa mount AV Link DESK360 Desktop Flecible Screen Mount 13-32 Inch
It works really well, I like to pull the monitor out a bit so I can sit on the couch and use the monitor to watch movies. Removing the glass front and the glass base removes quite a bit of weight from the monitor.

Where can you find the Crossover 404k for the same money? It's $150 more expensive (that's 27%, hardly the same money)

So I've got something weird going on. If I'm on a page, for example twitter and open up file explorer, I can see the text from the twitter page and images ghosting in the file explorer. Anyone else have this?

I'm not sure if the picture shows it clearly enough but you can see the text of the webpage I was last on and you can see it "ghosting" in file explorer

ive seem random visual artifact issues like that happen with lots of displays and I always put it down to a Windows issue or driver thing in Windows.

Has anyone been able to compare it to the Philips BDM4065UC? Is it the same panel? I'd like to replace my slowly dying Catleap with something bigger, and I absolutely love the real estate a 40" 4K gives, but i'm in two minds about the VA panel used on the Philips... When put next to the Catleap, the Philips' colours look very washed out. She has to use 60% digital vibrance to get the colours somewhat close to theIPS panel. Are the A399U any better?
