For what it's worth, confirmation of my return came from Amazon after my correspondence with Pixio, not from Pixio themselves. They provided a FedEx label, all I payed for was the box to put their box in.

Question for Pixio owners... Is the PX277 worth it? I know it's IPS 1440p 144hz and thats gold but is buying a Pixio a gamble... like buying a Korean monitor from ebay?

Pritty much but support is better. I would say the panel gamble is not going to be any different from the other major 144Hz screens. That are still working on the firmware. Untill they can finish that I would think about waiting for the Nixeus 144Hz or geting the MG279Q from fry's for ~$490

Is there a date and price for the Nixeus? Sadly the MG279Q at $490 is way out of my price range.

Not that I know of but I would guess the price will be right around the MG279Q.

That would be great if e-bay could do something like that for me. Now if only I can get Pixio to respond to my e-mails

pixio is revising this monitor model. anyone interested in this might want to wait for the revision.

"We will be adding :
24inch / 1080P / 144hz / 1800R Curved / IPS / 1ms / Freesync
27inch - completely revamped PX277
34inch / Ultra Wide QHD / 144hz / 1800R Curved / IPS / 4ms / Freesync"

Good information - or at least worthy of wait to see if the current model might be significantly discounted to empty stock when the new revision releases.

I hope they do something with this stand. If nothing else then find a stand that can be removed without having to disassemble the whole panel for it. The cheapest VESA 100 desk stands go for about 25 EUR, so they could bundle one of these with the panel and just provide an VESA 100 mount in the back, for example. Hell even something as simle as just having two plates you have to bolt togehter yourself with VESA mounting pattern and no ability to regulate anything would be substantially better in my opinion.

For example:

Thats 3mm thick plate. if uppper plate would be 15 cm wide and bottom plate 25 cm wide the weight would be less than 750 grams for aluminium, 3mm would be rigid enough to hold 5 kg display without significant wobble.
