Everytime I see this thread show up in the news box, I think today's the day........nope mad.gif

Yeah like a really bad song on the radio that the station keeps repeating and repeating.
In time you find yourself tapping your foot and singing along.
It's like being programed.

I am not sure, it would be great if we could stop seeing pixels on our desktops, the way mobile has gone.

I plan to get this display, 4K at 32" or above has visible pixels at the viewing distance.

Scaling is still bad enough that I would probably get at 32 or 40" option it it was available but I am still interested in this one, it should be ideal for gaming and hopefully everything I use will soon support scaling properly. tongue.gif

Wouldn't go above 27" for 4k personally or below 1440p at 24" nor 1080p above 22".

LOL. thumb.gif

But to be honest, 240 Hz is not THAT important and it is tricky to do at 4K, even with DP 1.4. frown.gif

(600 Hz is required to be able to play any video standard without judder, 300 Hz isn't divisible by 24 fps and 240 Hz isn't divisible by 25 fps, so I am not sure settling for something below that is a good idea)

Fixed that for you. But while we're at it, why not 5k or 8k, 12-bit color depth, true QLED, and 600 Hz?

Yeah but this is just a monitor. Although extremely high refresh rate is better for other reasons like less input lag and less eye fatigue when using strobing. Speaking of which, it is confirmed that the Acer counterpart to this monitor has ULMB, although we don't know anything about it yet.

Also what content is 25 FPS?

It is the standard broadcast frame rate for historically PAL regions (Europe, China, Australia, eastern and southern Africa, Argentina, and Greenland). smile.gif

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Remember the release of the Asus RoG Swift PG278Q?

I wouldn't be surprised if this release cycle was worse. It was so difficult to get those monitors but I was able to cop 3 for some 144Hz G-Sync Surround madness! biggrin.gif

If this monitor makes it to market this year, I'd be amazed. rolleyes.gif
