Both Asus and Acer fail actually delivering promised and advertised, so I wouldn't hold my breath. If a monitor is announced for 2019, expect it 2020 at earliest and most probably 2021.

i don' think anyone worth listening to said 4k 27 sucks, just that some of us prefer a slightly larger screen.

Yeah, I need to be at least 2-3 feet from my ProArt Asus 4K, but that's more due to viewing angles when being too close.

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

I have seen a lot of people call 4k on 27inch a gimmick lol.

So I'm testing the monitor before deciding whether to purchase it or not. I can't seem to set the reference white nits option right. At 52 hdr contents look pretty dim, bright highlights do not stand out much. Even dimmer than my oled c8 at home if I remember correctly. The brightness test video doesn't work either as 400nits and 1000 nits look the same. If I turn it up way over 80 then it looks bright as my oled when dynamic tone mapping is on

Yes will do. It is indeed a joke. I'm hoping to receive it this week damn.
I've been playing Apex on an old 1080p 60Hz monitor for the last 2 weeks LOL.

Does anyone have fixed the washed out colors on HDR games? Devil may cry 5 also have much better colors on SDR. Just look the red logo on start screen. On SDR is red, if you enable HDR it is like orange....

I don’t play DmC. What other hdr games do you have problem with? I can test on both the monitor and my oled tv to see if I have the same problem with colors

I have never had that issue, (release-firmware), all hdr content has always looked perfect for me colorwise.
(netflix hdr, destiny2, battlefield v, anthem, some demos, probably other games i forget - haven't tried dmc5)
