I honestly buy all my expensive stuff i expect to break early from bestbuy.

How did you do this? After purchase or before?

Edit: NM, I shouldn't have been in a hurry. Figured it out (Price Match link on bottom). I'm thinking about doing this. I currently have the PG279Q 2k monitor, but I kind of want 4k with HDR...

Didn't know about this shortcut thanks I used to have this same issue on my pg27uq I would just unplug the power from the monitor and plug it back in to fix.

I Switched to a LG 27gl850b after getting a refund for my pg27uq and my god....1440p is soooo pixelated on 27inch..Upscaling to 4k was so good on Pg27UQ. The IPS glow sucks too. FALD Halos are wayyy better.

I soooo hear you. The extra PPI density was "just a luxury" that I didn't really need. That is, until I got used to it...now there's no way back to 'low QHD' res lol !

Push it back further or sit a little bit further back? Why did you even return the PG27UQ to effectively "downgrade" to the LG? I'm quite content on 24" 1440p but do want a little more density i'd be good 32" 4k i think thats the most ideal size for 4k while having good density. 27" 4k is really nice too but for immersion 32" just fits the bill better. I'm not going to get any of the current crop of 4k 144hz monitors though, they're too gimped by DP 1.4. Will have to wait for DP 2.0 but by then I'd probably already have bought an LG C10 lol.

I'm in RMA process due to my fan being broken most likely and the insides getting fried sooner or later. I just received a replacement unit and oh my god it's f'ing garbage. Scuffs all around (previous owner clearly wasn't careful whatsoever), cable cover has broken pins. I counted more than 10 dead pixel. Fun times.

How long did it take you to get your refund approved? Did ASUS approve or your retailer? @kot0005

I got a refund because Pg35vq was announced and I thought I might as well get it with better fan control and contrast and better frames because of 1440p. But its yet to come into stock anywhere...

Took me around 2 months. Its supposed to be retailer but I had to get it from Asus because the retailed sucks balls, never buying expensive stuff from them.

MY Pg35vq arrived.

Watch in 1440p/4k

Ton of flickering and scanlines in Division 2

I will post updates if I find flicker in other games but scanlines exist in Gears 5 (one of the startup splash screens), Division 2 , metro exodus, Borderlands 3.

Havent noticed in control, may be because of low fps with RTX.

Flickering is a known issue on the 35 inch ultrawides. Will it get fixed? Who knows.
