my PG35VQ was super silent compared to my Pg27UQ they Pg27uq would also constantly ram the fan up and down. It was so annoying. The fan ended up dying and ran at full speed after 8months of use.

did you ask them if they will release an update to fix the flickering ? I just knew something bad would have to come out of these hdr 1000 ultrawides with how long the delay was for them to be released.

This isn't the droid you're looking for. UXC is the 60hz version. UCG is the 120hz that we all want.

let's make "more" scientific xD

when HDR is enabled in both monitor and windows,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XRbTQk45vQ

in this video to test for white clipping I can see clear difference until 155 nit, the sixth tile.

I don't think that this is good. am I the only one with this problem. is it possible that this monitor is so bad in HDR?
ok I probably found the problem.

it seems that the

sdr content appearance slider affect my youtube videos.

I have that slider at 40 and it causes white clipping even on youtube HDR video.

why? isn't that slider only relative to SDR content?

setting that slider to 0 completely solved all my white clipping problems :O

why I don't understand.

dunno what others do, but i use to keep the panel in sdr mode
i just turn it on if i need to see some youtube video, cause mostly all recent games when hdr is enabled they auto enable the hdr.
i think windows is not yet ready for hdr on desktop
