Seems nice, but doesn't have height adjustment and, apparently, no freesync, right?

No height adjustment unfortunately, but it is Freesync and LFC should work too.

I think they ship everywhere in Europe, I have already ordered 1 monitor from France and the service was good (phone calls service, delivery in 1 day with TNT express).

Are you sure? When I try to register on their website there is no box to pick country...

sorry I just checked and they ship only in france and Italy. I thought it was everywhere in Europe.

Otherwise you can order it here : https://www.lambda-tek.com/ASUS-MX34VQ~sh/B6517915 but it's more expensive (870€ with VAT)

That's way too expensive, I can find it here in Portugal for 810€, with shipping costs included. Damn, what to do now, keep the order for the CF791 or jump ship to this one?

PS: I see no Freesync reference anywhere on the Asus webpage.

Keep the order of CF791 if you can send it back easily if it has any issue.

I know for freesync it was not clear for me at first, but it is now :

On the product page you can read :

"Digital Signal Frequency : 30~151 KHz(H) / 48~100Hz(V)"
+
"Adaptive Sync support range from 48Hz-100Hz"

Adaptive Sync = Freesync as it is explained on other page on Asus website :

"ASUS FreeSync product is certified by both AMD and VESA standard, so it can be called as VESA Adaptive-Sync as well." (Link here)

Moreover, some dealer have clearly write Freesync in the product specs like here

Same case for the Asus MG24UQ, it is only mentioned Adaptive Sync and not Freesync in the page product, but it is freesync.

The problem for me is that there isn't any "serious" review by a trustworthy source of neither the Sammy or the Asus yet.
Before splashing 800-900€ in a display I'd like at least to see some real tests of it. It's true it can be returned, but still quite the fuss at that point..

For now Amazon.it is not even listing the Sammy nor the Asus, while on Amazon.de the Sammy is more than 1.000€ (still too much IMHO)

Specs lists it as "16.7m colors", so apparently it's 8bit only like the Sammy F791, do they share the panel by any chance?

That's a bit of a letdown to me, since I do a lot of photo editing and really hate color banding..

Can't be the same panel as the CF791 since the Asus has a 1800R curvature, but it could be the same panel as the Microboard.
