Hi guys,

I have a questıon for you. I have checked the internet but could not find anything related. Here it is:

Everthing is awesome on display port 1.2. As you can see below the text are OK.

***Check First Image Below***

But on display port 1.1, the texts are getting blurry and some strange colors on text. Some yellow and blue I think.

***Check Second Image Below***

It is same even if I change the refresh rate to 75hz on DP1.1. In addition to that, Icon edges are getting pixelation on DP1.1.

Is this a common problem in DP1.1 or our monitors or it is just me?

@ilmazzo do you have an opinion for this issue. Thanks.

Thanks for your help.

PS: My GPU is MSI GTX 1080.

Bandwidth required for [email protected] is higher than what DP 1.1 standard offers. Your image looks like as if chroma subsampling is used although I am not sure our monitor actually supports that.

P.S. Why would you want to use DP 1.1 if you can use 1.2?

I just wonder I always use DP1.2. If so, why this monitor have DP1.1?

It is useful if you run a very long regular DP cable as DP1.2 works only to about 5m. Without limiting [email protected] it is possible to get no picture at all since the graphics card will try to set native resolution when monitor is connected.

Удалось кому-то решить проблему мерцания (видео -
) ? У меня мерцает с FreeSync and g-synk. Пробовал менять кабель, не помогает. Ненавижу этот монитор.
