LG just release a firmware fixing the input lag on this monitor. That and G-Sync now working on it makes it an awesome buy.

I have this monitor coming in Thursday from amazon.com. Paid $1493 CAD with tax and duty. Can't buy this in Canada atm. Coming from a BenQ BL3200PT VA, should be a nice upgrade.

Actually, I'm going with this. $1045 CAD which is $350 cheaper than any other Canadian retailer. 49" 32:9 HDR 144Hz. 3840x1080 FreeSync.

I looked at that as it's sold locally here. It's really nice. Just too wide for my personal preference and it's VA. Going IPS and the high refresh this time.

Your monitor $799 USD on BHPhoto.

Edit: Can you cancel the Amazon order still? BHPhoto is a decent retailer too.

It's backordered until end of April. With duty and tax, it'll be almost the same price anyways. Atleast $1400+ still, plus the wait. Monitor is hard to get. The $400 off from $1200 is nice price for what you get.
