refurb acer monitor has an odd grid on it

not sure how to describe what im seeing other than a strange grid array on the screen its especially noticeable in games and on blue images. in games it almost looks like im not using any Anti aliasing but i am, looking at a blue image it's almost like im actually seeing the pixels in the panel itself but shouldn't they be so tiny i cant see them? The monitor is an ACER SA230 Bi. my old monitor is an AOC 2269W and its nearly the same size (AOC is 21.5 inch new ACRER is 23 inch) and the difference is night and day. Both monitors are 1080P and connected to digital outputs on my 1080. Is this normal or is it defective?

Almost looks like it's not running at the native res. I'd RMA it.

There is a similiar problem to the LGs 24MP59G-P and the 23MP68VQ-P.
It's a panel design thing and getting a replacement will propably have the same flaw.
If's it's the same problem with the LGs,then I'd consider returning the monitor and get entirely another model.
Or you can live with it,as I'm doing since other than the windows logos and some shortcuts, you don't really notice it somewhere else.

What the... Yea you got boned on that deal, I can't believe that a 1080p monitor this late in the game even a refurb could be so poor in design, almost seems more likely a defect.

What did you pay for this 19.99 plus shipping and handling?

about 92 dollars shipped with 3 day fedex. i would also like to say the packaging was very poor. 2 pieces of cheap Styrofoam on each side was it with the power adapter free floating in the front, the fact the screen isnt cracked or scratched up is a miracle.
