Monitors these days never meet their expected release date. I think this was targeted for an April launch? Yet here we are in May already...I wouldn't be surprised if this thing doesn't come out till Q3 or even gets pushed back to 2020 really.

Yes, motion is the most important factor. The TN gaming displays are noticeably faster than the IPS gaming displays.

Also, I find the uniformity issues less bothersome on TN. The TN vertical gamma shift is negligible to me when the monitor is setup correctly. The IPS displays all had yellow tinting to some degree that I found bothersome. From what I understand, this is not inherent to IPS technology, but rather a consequence of AUO shaving down the LCD layer in an attempt to reduce response times.
