Running 144Hz monitor at 143Hz

Hi
Is it safe to run a native 144Hz monitor at 143hz?
I did this via NVIDIA control panel > Create Custom Resolution, because at 144Hz there are faint scan lines on some uniform color content but at 143Hz the scan lines disappear.
Thanks

Yeah just create a custom resolution via driver GUI or CRU. Some monitors may tell you that it's not supported though when you try to run it, depends on the amount of protections of your monitor.
