4k Monitor Recommendations

I'm looking for suggestions and opinions on either a 27" or 32" 4k monitor. My primary uses will be for Photoshop and gaming. The only game I play is ARMA 3 which is pretty FPS limited, so I'm not too concerned about 60Hz limits on most 4k IPS screens. I'm also not too concerned about HDR as it seems a bit gimmicky at the moment unless spending $1k+

When it comes to VA or IPS, I'm gathering IPS is what I should be looking for in my application?

My rig will include an I9-9900k and RTX 2080ti.

Max price range is around $600.

Kinda between these two at the moment:

LG 27UK650-W

Acer Predator XB271HK

Opinions or suggestions? Thanks

I like my LG, been a good monitor for the month I have had it, I did learn not all games play well or look good at 4k.

Personally, 4K TVs are awesome.

Play something like Civ 6 on a 55" or bigger, quite a scene!

Yes someday I'd like to be on a 65" OLED with all the bells and whistles..

For now I went with the acer contrary to the recommendations here

I came from a 6 year old 23" Samsung 1080 screen so any 4K was going to be a huge improvement. I'm very satisfied with the monitor and all the reviews I went over were accurate. ARMA 3 is stunning in 4k and I easily lock into 60 FPS with G Sync, even on online servers. I'm seeing all my pictures like never before as well.

Honestly I don't have a calibration tool yet so anything I say is arbitrary. With that, I can say it looks great compared to some large scale professional prints I have side by side. Blacks and shadows don't seem to be an issue like with some IPS screens.

Here is one of the more in depth reviews I was able to find. Link to calibration specifically
