Also, does Gsync work with HDR enabled and no chroma subsampling/compression?

Worse than VA and IPS? This isn't even a question they're not great, its a TN, as expected.

Ordered one of these from Rentazon, after sending back the unopened ULMB165 based on Misstaahh Spaaaarklezzz UFO speed reviews

Yeah like a really bad song on the radio that the station keeps repeating and repeating.
In time you find yourself tapping your foot and singing along.
It's like being programed.

Played some Apex legends and even with frame rates dropping as low as ~110-120, I still could not spot super obvious overshoot. Maybe some light trailing here and there but nothing that totally sticks out like a sore thumb. I think the reason for this could be explained by this piece from TFTCentral: https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/article...fresh_rate.htm

"They are also planning to push the resolution of the 27" panel up to 2560 x 1440 with production expected from November 2018 (originally expected July 2018. The new 27" 2560 x 1440 @ 240Hz panel (M270DTN02.7) will also offer a 3ms response time (ISO figure without overdrive, down from the typical 5ms limit for TN Film), 400 cd/m2 brightness and even an extended gamut offering 90% DCI-P3 coverage. That 3ms response time spec is AUO pushing the overall responsiveness of the panel, and they rate that as being able to offer <1ms G2G response times with overdrive used, and in fact their target is achieving 0.5ms."

I'm guessing this monitor uses the new AUO panel with 3ms native GtG response time. If that's the case, then this monitor already has a very capable 240Hz panel even without overdrive at all, so it's possible that maxed overdrive setting is actually very light and not a super aggressive setting which should explain the lack of overshoot even at frame rates nowhere near 240fps?? Of course I could just be super blind and fail to spot the overshoot, or Apex Legends isn't a game that's good at exposing those problematic high error transitions. I'm hoping Malinkadink and l88 can chime in on this to confirm my suspicions.

Thanks for that MisterSparkul. Guess I'll give this monitor a try since the Lenovo never comes out, fan noise, and $999.

The only issue I have is I am running 1080 Ti because I find Nvidia too expensive these days to get a 2080 Ti. Wonder if I'll struggle to keep the FPS up high enough at 240hz to make it worth it? I am currently using an XB252Q 1080p.

Next year I'll probably get the AMD high end Navi if it's good.

This looks like a good upgrade to my Alienware AW2518H. Anyone have good photos? Is the stand any good?

MistaSparkul, thanks for your feedback!

On the UFO Test website, have you tried the "Moving Photo" test, with the photo selected on "Street Map"? Are you able to read the street names, with no overshoot on max overdrive? Thanks!

Not really. You can make out a few letters here and there but I wouldn't consider it fully legible. Remember this is still a sample and hold display and 240Hz isn't quite enough to make the street names readable.
