Official LG 38" Nano IPS 1ms 175hz Official Thread.

Ive been waiting for this monitor for almost a year and still it's not out. The 27" cousin is out for 500 dollars. This monitor is going to be 1800 dollars. That is what you pay to get 3840x1600 @ 175hz with Nano IPS 1ms. Im almost ready to give up on this monitor ever coming out. Also the price tag is a bit to much which sux.

Who is waiting for this monitor like me. Share your thoughts. This would be my first UltraWide monitor. I hope I like it since Im used to 40" 4k Curved 60hz ..... you pay like 1000 dollars just for the refresh rate. sighs

at this point, you might as well wait on hdmi 2.1 stuff, or go LG C series

and yes, I'm all about the new pro art coming, I love my current one... even if it has some screen uniformity issues.

by the way, the PA32UCG is full 4K, though I now don't see the post where someone said otherwise.

https://www.asus.com/Monitors/ProArt...pecifications/

4K120hz is the standard to aim for for the next decade. The good news is this, switching to 4K120 will be as epic as it was to jump up to 1080p60(unless you upgraded from a high hz CRT, then yeah, it sucked)

R.I.P. Zawarudo, may you OC angels' wings in heaven.
If something appears too good to be true, it probably is.

The LG ultrawide would be worth it if it had FALD and proper HDR for that money, without it $1800 is a scam. I'd rather buy the 34 EDG from Nixeus next month for $500 if i was going ultrawide. The Asus pro art is going to cost more than a new LG C10 next year and still probably not even have DP 2.0. Yeah i'll be getting an OLED again next year to replace the C7 i have now.
