Acer Nitro XV340CK IPS 144hz 21:9 flat 1440p Freesync screen

So this monitor pop up on my local Microcenter

https://www.microcenter.com/product/...gaming-monitor

Acer webpage

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/conten...l/UM.CX0AA.P05

Ultrawide IPS panel 1440p 144hz flat screen Freesync

What I like about it is that is a fully flat screen. Not a fan of curve screen. Also Microcenter price is really nice for the specs it has. Now there is no info or review about it anywhere. Seems only Microcenter sell it here on the US. Kind want to get one to give it a go, but probably will wait for a review to see how the response time perform. Hopefully we star seen this on Amazon and some reviewer give it a try.

Maybe I'll get it and if I feel response time and picture quality is bad I'll just return it as Microcenter return policy is pretty good.

I saw this too as I was browsing the ATL MicroCenter site. I drive past one today. I'll check it out after work. I just picked up a Acer 32" 75hz 2560x1440 open box for cheap but I think want a ultrawide instead.

I honestly try not to be condescending (which means "to talk down to") . . .

If you get it let me know. Would love to hear your impressions.

I'm also on ATL. I will probably go to the Duluth store to see if they have it on display.

Well, did y'all go and have a look at the monitor or not? If so, how'd it look? Y'all don't leave me hanging, I am very interested as well.

Haven't had a chance to go to Microcenter.

Someone drop a review on the Microcenter webpage showing a lot of BLB. Panel lottery could be tough on this one

So... when I went to the store they couldn't find it at first. Turns out it wasn't up on display yet. Dude put it together in front of me. Then the PC they had near it could only push 2560x1440. Didn't have anything else to hook it up to at the time. Total let down. Sales guy knew it though so I didn't bust his balls about it.

So... Pros... I like the thin bezels.

Cons - jury is still out on if i don't like the non curved 34" screen already. It's a bit much without it.

Will come back Saturday to see if their Acer rep came to set it up nice.

Which store on ATL you went?

I'll go to the Duluth one on Friday. Hopefully they already have it set up.

Also saw the Acer X34P is $599 on Costco. I can make them price match it to also get the extra 5% off with their store card. For $100 more it might be a better option if you can do Gsync and prefer curve.
