Could someone tell me how this display looks. It looks pretty good to me, it has pretty good DP and 17'' is big enough for me. Not that I wouldnt want a 19".

If you're a gamer, most LCD monitors aren't up to par. The refresh rates of the LCDs are way too slow. I read recently (I think it was CNet, but it might have been somewhere else similar) that the average LCD refresh rate compares to a lowly 45 Hz CRT refresh. Way too slow, no one would accept that on a CRT! There are better LCDs out there that refresh at an acceptable rate, but I suspect they will cost a fair amount more. So just make sure you check before you buy.

If you aren't a gamer, then it doesn't matter as much. You don't need as fast a refresh just to check e-mail and surf the web.

I think I am going to go with a CRT monitor, I found one that I really like. I need a pretty good one for gaming.
