How about DVI vs Analog RGB? I can see DVI input hikes the price a good $20-40 alone. Also, thoughts baout dual 17's vs a single 19" or bigger? I'm a gamer on the big machine, so not much else to worry about.

If I could have it my way, I'd take the biggest LCD I can find for gaming...with the lowest response time, and a high contrast ratio.

Now, for working, two 17's would ROCK.

I hear DVI on an LCD is something to behold, it really helps the LCDs.

I am curious why refresh rate doesn't matter on an lcd.

there isnt really a refresh rate just pixel adjust rate....
each pixel has its own transistor and could actively change all pixels instantly..
therefore if the pixels could switch as fast as those transisters then it would be as fast as the video card could send it....
but the LCD pixels have one fallback..
they take time to switch from one color to the next
so thats where the 16ms white to black fade time comes into play...
on slower fading LCDs the video can apear to ghost so in games it looks like trails or a bad LSD trip i dunno never tried it before....
if you have a frys near by i think they have the samsung syncmaster 712n for $350 on sale has a 12ms (refresh)
